Community Improvement Fund School Edition

The Community Improvement Fund School Edition is now open for applications until Friday 9 February 2024

The Community Improvement Funding scheme is run by Veolia in partnership with Solihull Council as part of the added value brought to the borough by Veolia.

The Community Improvement Fund awards grants of up to £500 for projects that benefit the environment and can be integrated into learning programmes. These could be projects that improve the environment through planting wildflowers and/or trees; creating forest school areas or educational green spaces; or using green space to support biodiversity or create a sustainable garden. Funding can be awarded for a variety of projects and activities including promotion and marketing, education and awareness raising, practical equipment and project running costs.

Who can apply?

To apply, schools must be properly constituted not-for-profit organisations in the borough of Solihull.
